Within the scope of the Group Coordination for Diversification, A Raymond France, A Raymond Germany and A Raymond Czech Republic participated to this exhibition to follow up the action already initiated towards the White Goods Manufacturers in Turkey. Onurfix had invested in a big stand (18*3 m) perfectly located near the main entrance of the Fair and visible from the 2 main aisles. Half stand was dedicated to A Raymond group products and all the team was mobilized for this annual event. Since two years, A Raymond Group keeps one’s eye on the major actors of this market such as VESTEL Group, ARCELIK, BOSCH and INDESIT/MERLONI. Main target is to enter VESTEL and ARCELIK which both have their decision centres, R&D and production lines in Turkey. The interest is also that both have plants in Russia with interesting volumes of production and this market is also of interest fro A Raymond Group.Turkish plants are decision centres for Russia. To catch a glimpse of this potential market : Vestel Cy is manufacturing : - 2,5 millions of refrigerators per annum - 1,5 millions of washing machines per annum - starting next year : 300 to 500.000 dishwashers per annum. Arcelik Cy is manufacturing : - 3,5 millions of refrigerators per annum - 3 millions of washing machines per annum - 1,5 millions of ovens - 200.000 tumble dryers in 2006 (170.000 of them for exports). Both Cies export worldwide in more than 100 different countries. During this fair, we had interesting contacts particularly with VESTEL Cy, with Global purchaser for White Goods and R&D people. We presented AR Group/Onurfix and insisted on our capacity of innovation, our R&D and saving cost solutions. We insisted on the fact that we should work together at the early stage of a new project and not only to substitute existing suppliers on standard parts where we might not be competitive in price. We should visit the assembly lines in order to visualize the process and suggest productivity. It is now Onurfix’s task to perpetuate and develop these contacts that should lead us to success. We did a good job with Onurfix team during this fair and are very confident in our mutual cooperation.
