ARaymond offers the broadest range of automotive, truck, and off-road vehicle fuel-line Quick Connectors on the market. Our QCs adapt to any connection situation from fir tree or olive barb to friction welding for reduced permeation and a more robust connection. They are available in a wide range of materials to meet OEM-specific requirements, compatible with gasoline, diesel, and biofuels, and are compliant with the SAE J2044 tube end form standard.
ARaymond offers a complete range of standard 1 and 2 button QCs that can be used in any connection situation. Sensors and valves can also be integrated to our QC designs


Secure-connection QCs
ARaymond offers a manual connection with visual confirmation with the P2L® (Push to Lock) and also provides a metal version for severe conditions.The RayLOCK® has an automatic connection with manual double locking.

Click P2L®, Combines, Confirms, Complements
The Click P2L® complements the ARaymond™ secure Quick Connectors range. This double latching quick connector is designed for all fluid lines including battery cooling lines for thermal management of EV/HEV systems. It combines the best features and robust design of our ARaymond™ 1-button and P2L ® Quick Connectors to provide a secured connection, achieved in a double primary and secondary lock and gives an obvious confirmation of the connected state on the assembly line through visual, tactile and audible confirmation.

Injector QCs
Our FlagLOCK® and S2L® QC for high-pressure engine injection lines, feature compact designs suitable for use with different end pieces. They provide visual confirmation of a secure connection with either a colored flag or a point for camera control.

Slide-on shaft retainers provide an easy two-step mInjector clips ounting solution to fasten the injectors on the injection rail.

Flexible part designs for easy custom adaptations
ARaymond’s compact, no-tool FlagLOCK® design has been very successful with the automotive industry. The main features of the design are its compact size and no-tool assembly, but direction, materials, temperature resistance, crash-test resistance, and biodiesel compatibility can be tailored to meet the needs of all fuel systems and specific customer requirements.

Thermal management systems
Our products address all cooling lines with limited thermal conductivity of plastic: engine and battery thermal management, transmission and engine cooling, cooling air, and air conditioning. They are compliant with various coolant fluids (glycol, oil, dielectric fluid, and more) and can integrate pressure and temperature measurement and other features.

VDA QCs
Robust and compact, our VDA QCs are compatible with various coolant fluid (glycol, oil, dielectric fluid, and more). Anti-rotation device is available in multiple positions. Specific diameters or designs are available on request (angle, hose connection, head range) and diverse integrated features can be added such as integrated pressure and temperature measurement.

Secure-connection QCs
Our Quick Connectors can improve safety by assuring the connections have been made, especially in environment where both electrical components and fluids are present. To prevent installation errors, the Selfy® QC automatically locks and the P2L® locker can only be pushed down, when the end piece is fully engaged.

Thermal management, a key focus of ARaymond’s strategy
Both traditional internal combustion engines and new EV and hybrid EV powertrains require thermal management systems to enhance performance, lower fuel consumption, and increase battery life and capacity.
The space available in battery packs is very limited, making battery cooling complex. Temperature management must be responsive and consistent across the battery pack to ensure safety in an environment where both electrical components and fluids are present.
New system designs combine passenger compartment air conditioning and battery temperature management. Whatever the system configuration, ARaymond has a solution.
QCs for air conditioning lines
ARaymond offers a cheaper and faster than the usual two aluminum flanges welded or screwed together with O‑rings. Our specially-engineered O-rings and metal insert to reinforce the connector body offer a high-pressure-resistant assembly solution.

Fastening solutions reduce vibration and facilitate assembly
This bi-injected grommet with high-performance seal manages air-conditioning lines, ensures a water-tight connection, and reduces vibration and the associated noise. The integrated nut screws in and locks automatically for much easier assembly. The entire fastener takes just one screwing operation and there is no need to access the back of the grommet.
Bi-material pipe holders
Bi-material fasteners are used to fasten several pipes to the structure. The pipe holder spaces the pipes apart and absorbs vibration from the compressor.

SCR lines
Most automotive manufacturers now integrate Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems into their diesel vehicles in response to new worldwide emissions regulations. SCR systems reduce pollution, but they also create new degas line management challenges for manufacturers. ARaymond™ Quick Connectors are already widely used for SCR urea applications and provide optimal management for all SCR line requirements, from traditional degas and non-heated lines to large-diameter filler necks and temperature- and self-regulating capabilities.
SCR uses a reductant fluid solution made of urea called AdBlue® to transform NOx exhaust gases into water and nitrogen, therefore reducing pollution. AdBlue® is very sensitive to temperature variation. Low temperatures can lead to its freezing and prevent system operation, whereas too high temperatures can degrade the fluid and decrease system performance.
ARaymond™ QCs are available with larger diameters for filler neck applications and with high resistance to corrosive AdBlue® urea solution for QCs immersed in AdBlue® tank.

Brackets
Brackets are perfect solutions for demanding line routing applications. This solution for instance was developed specifically to secure the particle filter sensor, guide the urea tube, and fasten the camshaft position sensor around the power steering assistance system.

We are already working with the materials of tomorrow, today.
As a materials expert, we pay particular attention to SCR applications for which we choose our materials according to their resistance to fluid and environmental temperatures while meeting specifications in terms of ionic migration. We provide our QCs in PA 12 30%, PA 66 35% and PPA 35% glass fiber specifically developed for these applications. We conduct advanced research on thermoplastic and elastomer materials, partner with chemical companies and characterization laboratories, and have our own materials laboratory. This also positions us to adapt to fuels with ethanol and methanol to improve chemical compatibility and permeability.
Brake lines
We cover all brake lines, including high and low pressure. QCs can be customized to meet specific needs (stop and start, multiway, etc.).

To simplify brake booster fastening, ARaymond designed a multiway Quick Connector for multiple hose connections with a single part. The number of connections can be customized according to the different start and stop options.

Washing lines
Mounted on or under the hood of the car, on the cowl, in the third stop lamp, or on the wiper arms, our nozzles cover all the washing lines for front and rear windshields, as well as cameras and sensors. Our nozzles provide good water consumption management and can include integrated check valves and heating systems, for example.
Together, our Quick Connectors, connectors, integrated hose check valves, and hose fastening solutions cover the entire washing line according to our customers’ requests.

Pipe & hose fastening solutions for line routing management
ARaymond provides a comprehensive range of fluid-line pipe and hose fastening solutions for fuel, cooling, transmission, brake, power steering, SCR, and other fluid systems. Our tube holders and brackets address all line attachment situations on the engine, the underbody, pipe-to-pipe, and more. We can also deliver solutions for specific engine and cooling applications: metal for high-temperature use and bi-material for vibration control.
Our wide range of solutions can manage one or several pipes together in any environment and fastening situation: multi-housings, swivel for multidirectional mounting, live hinge, locking and adjustable lid, bi-injected parts to absorb vibration and prevent noise, metal parts for high temperature environment, and more.

Fastening and connecting solutions for better serviceability
ARaymond combined a Quick Connector and integrated shut-off valve for leak-free disconnection to facilitate the transportation of LCV engines after testing and filling. A bracket holds the QC in place for easy re-connection at the assembly plant.
