A Raymond UK is a reactive and experienced team of 8 people, on average having been with the company 9 years. We use contractors when necessary for CAD support.

We also have 4 project managers either working co located with customers ie Ford or from home office by product type ie Electrical.
We have today over 150 active customers in the UK,including main research and development centres for Ford, Landrover, Jaguar and TATA.
1.5million cars are manufactured by Aston Martin,Bentley, BMW(Mini) Jaguar,Honda,Landrover,Lotus,Nissan,Rolls Royce,Toyota, and there are many smaller car and truck companies.
Tier 1’s such as Delphi ,Johnson Controls, Lear, Siemens –Yazaki have engineering in the UK.
The trend is that many of our customers are  keeping purchase and engineering in the UK but moving  production to lower cost countries, so long as we can influence them to include A Raymond parts from the A Raymond Network then ARUK has an important role to play.
We are also actively assisting the start up of A Raymond India by providing sales support for clip fasteners and quick connectors(Rayconnect)  and at least 50% of Stephen Lockett’s time.
SAME DAY SOLUTION SERVICE :
Our target is to try to give customers a “same day solution service”.
On same day we receive an enquiry to our office we confirm receipt, if necessary call to get all details then try to give a drawing(s) and send samples immediately of all possible solutions.
This can be followed up if required by a visit from a project manager.
We are able to give this rapid response as we have between us very good knowledge of the Group’s range and very importantly a well stocked sample room with approximately 80% of usual parts.
We promote this to all our customers by Email, phone calls and sending a small sample box to remind them of the type of parts we sell.
Due to this reactivity and despite little or no growth in the UK our market share has continued to grow.
