Robust routing and secure connections
The powertrain environment needs robust assembly systems that can endure high temperatures, vibration, and mechanical movement. Connections for fluid lines must be secure. We develop specific solutions for harsh powertrain environments. The Selfy Quick Connector offers the advantage of a visual, audible, and mechanical confirmation of connection: The locker latches automatically once the end piece is fully engaged. The Click P2L features a double latching system for secured connections. QCs with integrated valves are ideal for fluid flow control in a compact design. The valves are directly integrated to the QC and require no action from the operator to be switched on. Our Quick Connectors and our sturdy pipe fasteners are designed to withstand vibration. Made from plastic, metal, or both, they offer the advantage of low insertion force and high pull-off resistance. Our wide range of multi-use tube holders adapt to the tube diameter and are easy to assemble and disassemble. In particular, our bi-material tube holders are ideal for reducing vibration.

Thermal management
Both traditional engines and new EV powertrains require thermal management systems to enhance performance, lower fuel consumption, and increase battery life and capacity. The battery pack is very compact, and the lack of space makes responsive, consistent cooling across the battery pack complex. And yet, effective thermal management is crucial to safety in an environment where both electrical components and fluids are present. Our threaded-end plastic parts are lighter in weight and more cost effective than brass or steel. They can be used for the battery pack inlet/outlet in HEVs or EVs. Our new-generation VDA Quick Connectors has a very low insertion force for enhanced ergonomics. Finally, we can develop compact Quick Connectors and cartridges that are suitable for tight environments.
