For many years, A Raymond has been its partner for all aspects of clip fastening of surrounds onto dashboards and instrument panels (e.g. hubcap clips, trim, car radio fascias, GPS systems, instruments, etc.).

Our company has undertaken a major rationalisation and standardisation of clip fastening systems so that our clips are automatically used as standard on all Visteon products. However, as nothing can be taken for granted and given the importance of always ensuring an increased presence to maintain our position as market leader with our partners, we organised a “Tech Day” in collaboration with Visteon employees responsible for standardisation.

In order to best showcase the overall offer provided by the A Raymond network, we invited representatives from the RayTOOL® (automated assembly system) team, Raybond (overall project management of the technical fastening concept) as well as the A Raymond Tinnerman European Sales Director.

The event was a great success, with more than 150 Visteon employees visiting our showroom. Employees from the technical-methods department were particularly interested in RayTOOL® technologies for automated fastening of plastic rivets and anti-creeping rings.

These meetings are a means of strengthening the ties between the A Raymond network and its customers, allowing us to gain greater insight into their requirements and to fully understand their strategy. However, they also provide us with the opportunity to offer reassurance to customers about our expertise and international dimension, and sometimes they open doors for us to new business sectors.

In the current global industrial context – notably in the automobile industry – it is crucial to maintain strong and constructive relations in order to remain key players.
